Research Trips and Excursions

The Department of Semitic Studies at Heidelberg regularly organizes joint research trips and field trips with the Departments of Assyriology and Islamic Studies. The aim of these trips is to study linguistic and cultural interactions in the field, examine original sources in archives and museums, and directly document regional varieties of living Semitic languages.
